 03.17.09 - Park Cleanup BIG Success - College students on Spring Break helped local neighbors and friends of the park take a lot of trash out of the park. 

 03.05.09 - 2009 Spring General Meeting - We had an informative meeting.  Attendees learned a lot about Hermann Park as well as updates on Willow Waterhole.  A new WWGC board was elected.

 02.11.09 - Bird Watching and Park Cleanup - Hurricane Ike left his imprint on the park and so we will be having a cleanup on February 21st from 10 am to noon.  But it won�t be all work�.this is the third Saturday of the month and that means the Houston Audubon monthly bird survey will be starting at 8 am. So come out early if you would like to do a little bird spotting�48 species were seen last month including our first  Northern Harrier. Then join the cleanup fun at 10 am. 

Park along Ricecrest and meet at �Stonehenge�.   Wear comfortable clothing, a hat if you want, and gloves. We will provide plastic trash bags and water.

Completed annual election of officers, HCFCD gave an update on Project Brays and Willow Waterhole, and a guest speaker told us the inspiring story about the Freshwater Tidal Marsh Project at Mason Park.
